Do Celiacs have to avoid milk?
Celiacs do not have to avoid milk
but many Celiacs are lactose intolerant
until they go gluten free and their intestines
have had time to heal. Once a Celiac is
gluten free the majority can resume
consuming dairy products. All Celiacs are
not lactose intolerant though even when
there is damage to the villi in the intestines.
If you are lactose intolerant try substituting
goats milk, soy milk or even rice milk.
