How do I find out if a product is gluten free?

Gluten free products are getting easier to find
with many new gluten free manufacturers
opening shops throughout the United States
and the U.K. You can order them online or find
them at your local health food stores. Whole Foods,
Wild Oats, Central Market and other health food
stores carry gluten free products. I use a lot of
Asian Rice noodles and tapioca starch and they
are very cheap at the local Asian Markets.
Indian Markets often carry corn flour and
bean flours that are also cheaper than the
health food stores that carry the very same
products. Some grocery stores are now starting
to carry gluten free products like Amy's,
Bob's Red Mill flours, and other vendors.
I have a list of gluten free vendors on our site
that is useful if you are looking for a
particular products. If you need any help
finding a particular product or help finding
a store in your area, please email me and
I would be happy to help. gfkitchen@yahoo.com.
